Q. - Do you have any items in stock?
A. - No, we custom build by order to keep great prices. Plus everyone is different and if we did keep some stock it may not be the one that matches your home.
Q - Just being up-front with solid wood furnishings -
A - Most builders will have a similar note on their page regarding solid wood products. Please keep in mind we are building solid wood furnishings that could potentially crack, split, shrink, warp or bow in certain areas. Wood is an organic product and with different weather conditions, humidity, it has a mind of its own! I believe any of these features (cracks, splits, knots, bowing, gaps, shrinkage, warping) the wood is adding its own authentic character to your custom furnishing. We do glue, use pocket hole screws and wood fill (optional) for our table tops to close the seams as best as possible.
I will not offer refunds, repairs or exchanges if any of these instances are to occur. We take a lot of pride in our furnishings when we build them however there are some things like above you or I cannot control.
Wood fill (optional) - Our table tops we work to close seams as best as possible. Wood fill is optional please let me know if you would like to add it at no additional charge on most items.
The wood fill can crack due to wood movement because wood fill isn't too flexible. Whether you leave it as is, or add back more wood fill (stain/clear) is up to you. I can definitely give steps to add wood fill back which is an easy process. Most like using it because it aids in keeping food from getting between the seams even with the maintenance factor. We usually will give you a touch up kit at pick up or delivery with wood fill, stain, paint and clear coat.
You are welcome to call and discuss this option as well.

Q. - I have a picture of something I would like to see if you can build?
A. - Send the picture or sketch via text and I can let you know if we can build it or not. I don't work with metal or glass. I have had customers order metal legs and shipped to me to assemble to their furnishing. You're are welcome to bring barn wood, box car flooring for me to build with as well.
Q. - Do you deliver and if so, what is the cost and how far? Pick up address?
A. See our Delivery/Pick up page located on the website menu
Q. - What kind of wood do you use?
A. - We use solid wood, Douglas fir, kiln-dried very economical for the farmhouse market.
As of 2020 I have found a resource that can get some types of hardwoods. If you would like hardwood let me know and keep in mind $300 - $1000+ range would be additional to pricing on our page.
If you would like to incorporate any other wood that you have on hand, best thing to do is call and we'll discuss
Q. - Is there a store or shop we can come and look at the furnishings?
Q. - How many people can fit around a ? length table?
A. - Normally I will use a 2ft space per adult. For example, a 6ft table will seat 3 on each side and 2 on the end for a total of 8. Depending if it's a mix of adults and kids, you may be able to get a few more in.
Q. - What is the difference between unfinished and finished?
A. - Unfinished is a raw wood product in which we do not sand, stain, paint or seal. Finished is where we do sand, stain, paint and seal in a satin finish (available in semi-gloss and gloss upon request).
Q. - What colors of stains and paints are available?
A. - Click here to take you to Finish options.
Q. - How do I maintain and clean my new furnishing?
A. - We use spar urethane to seal it. For the first 2 weeks the piece is in your home clean like normal and no standing water/liquid. After 2 weeks the spar urethane is set and just clean it like normal and don't worry about those cup water rings. Spar Urethane is specially formulated as a protective clear finish for exterior or interior wood exposed to sunlight, water, or temperature changes. It contains UV blockers to reduce the sun's graying and fading effects, forms a protective barrier against rain and moisture, and special oils allow the finish to expand and contract with the wood as seasons and temperatures change.
